ILVE have participated in DMG homeshows
consistently for over 15 years now and find
them to be amongst the more organised, beneficial and targeted shows that we
participate in over the calendar year. The
sales leads and generation we get from
the show filters through long after the
show has finished and most of the time is
converted into real sales.
The type of consumer that is attracted
to the show is definitely targeted to the
consumer that we sell to and market
towards. We find that the shows are a
great networking tool and because DMG
consumers are loyal to the shows it gives
us a chance to re establish a relationship
with our consumers after they have
purchased and in many cases they bring
along in a friend or relative to purchase in
the following year as well. As I see it the
future with DMG and ILVE is strong!

We do the Sydney Show because it is
the only Sydney Show that produces the
results that we need to Brand our products
and make consumers aware of our
products in a directed, focused, positioned
way that is a cost effective media. While
we are usually the only large window
company involved it is a way to set up our
next year for awareness by the consumer
to either contact us when they are ready to
build or to visit one of our showrooms to
view more intensively our wide range
of products.
The quality of 2008 Show from our
perspective was that the trade component
was much better then previous but the
quality and depth of the consumer traffic
was way up. On the Thursday/Friday
this quality was very evident while on the
weekend the volume of traffic was so
intense it made for just pandemonium. We
even ran out of brochures at one stage on
Sunday such was the traffic.

The Modern Group spends a lot of money
each year branding our company so
exhibiting at the HIA Home Show is a very
important factor in reaping the benefits of
this spend.
The quality of customers gained from
the show was proven in our results over
the four days as consumers are there
to seriously consider improving their
homes. We averaged speaking to around
40 people per hour that passed by or
approached our stand.
Being in the home improvement industry
there are a lot of competitors out in the
market and to have the opportunity to be
face to face with people and demonstrate
the quality of our work and service is
a huge bonus.
The Modern Group have been an exhibitor
at the HIA Home Show for the last 20
years and will continue to do so as the
organisation, assistance, support and
overall well presented layout are a very
positive factor for businesses considering
to exhibit in the show..

I want to pass on Clarendon Homes'
appreciation to DMG and the HIA Sydney
Home Show.
The show generated a great
opportunity to create brand recognition
within our target markets with as many
as 95% of attendees passing our stand.
In total we had 27 direct leads from the
Home Show, which is an outstanding
accomplishment for a home builder in four
days, especially in the current
market.

The Sydney Home show is very important
to Vista as it promotes our company
& products. This year the quality of
customers who visited our stand was the
best we have ever had. Overall the 2008
Home show was a huge success for Vista.

We found the mix of exhibitors
represented at this show to be very
complimentary and represented great
value to the general public interested in
renovating, building or simply looking to
update any area of the house Internally or
externally.
Kleenmaid found the show to be very
beneficial in producing sales during the
Home Show trading days and also for
future lead generation which we are still
converting into business today.
We look forward to participating in more
events down the track.

Home Show manager - Kleenmaid
